Fort McMcurray Waterfall: Winter Edition

The falls are accessible in the winter, just as easily as the summer months! You can access the falls from the trails, this route is the shortcut.

Find this spot along Timberline Drive, and head down the hill along the trail.

When you see the snowman sign, you are halfway down the hill. Keep heading down, you will see traffic along Thickwood Boulevard.

Once you get to the bottom of the hill, take the natural turn in the trail left.

Keep walking along the trail, when you come to a fork, turn right. Left will take you to the trails.

Head through the trees and over the log.

Through the trees not much farther, and you will arrive at a ravine with ropes tied to the trees. Head on down!
